Bianca graduated from the University of Toronto law school in 2000 and was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2001 after articling with a national firm.. She practices primarily in the areas of family law and child protection law.
Bianca has conducted numerous trials and other proceedings at all levels of court in British Columbia (the BC Court of Appeal, the BC Supreme Court, and the BC Provincial Court) as well as the Federal Court of Canada.
Bianca has lectured in the areas of litigation, family law, copyright & trade-mark law, employment law, and social media law at the University of British Columbia (including UBC law school) and the Continuing Legal Education for lawyers (Law Society of BC) as well as many other speaking engagements around the province.
Before and after law school, Bianca has volunteered her time for causes she believes in including child poverty, children's rights, groups against violence against women, mental health issues, access to justice issues and the rights of racial and other minorities. She has been a member of a variety of advocacy groups including Alberta Mental Health, Advocates for Injured Workers, LEAF, Pivot Legal Society and a variety of First Nations groups.
